MUNICH - The European Patent Office (EPO) updated its quality dashboard to reflect figures from the second quarter of 2024. The latest results from product audits confirm continued high quality in search and a positive trend in findings relating to grant, according to the official website of EPO.

Launched in March 2024, the dashboard fosters transparency by delivering regular updates on quality standards and user satisfaction. It showcases essential key performance indicators (KPIs), providing stakeholders with a transparent picture of quality in the patent granting process at the EPO.  

The launch of the dashboard follows the introduction of the annual Quality Action Plan, which outlines targeted actions to further improve the quality of the EPO’s products and services.
