LOS ANGELES – The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced in a press release that it has opened a new Public Comment proceeding.

The Third Accountability and Transparency Review Team recommended the development of a new Specific Review, the Holistic Review. The ICANN Board approved the review as a pilot, "pursuant to a community-agreed Terms of Reference." A Terms of Reference was published for Public Comment in 2022. In response to input received, the Board reconvened the drafting team to revise the document, which is now posted for community feedback.
