‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Participates in the Arab Parliament Meeting in Jordan

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) took part in the fourth Arab Parliament meeting held at Jordan’s National Assembly Hall in the presence of parliamentarians, representatives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE),  to discuss means of supporting the activities of the Arab Parliament that will be held in Jordan in 2022.

Mr. Sami Krishan, TAG.Global’s regional Organizations Relations Consultant represented HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman at the meeting. Other participants included, HE Mr. Adel Assoumi, speaker and president of the Arab Parliament, Jordan’s Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, HE Dr. Ahmad Hanandeh, and MP and Chairman of the Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology at the Arab Parliament, HE Mr. Khaled Abu Hassan. Mr. Abu Hassan is a current member of the Jordanian Parliament as well.

During the meeting, the participants agreed on supporting the activities of the Arab Parliament to be held in Jordan in cooperation with the Jordanian House of Representatives and MoDEE, in partnership with TAG.Global. 

Therefore, cooperation will be planned to digitize the parliamentary work in the Arab countries, especially in the areas of joint Arab action and dialogue, through TAG.Global, in accordance with the previously signed agreement between the two parties, in which TAG.Global will contribute to the implementation of joint programs in Digital Transformation and Innovation sectors, as well as will devote its technological expertise to develop the mechanisms and tools of Arab  parliamentary work.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Parliament has recently selected Jordan to chair the Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology during its plenary session that was recently held at the Jordanian Parliament.
