LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced in a press release the selection of PDR Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com (IANA 303) (PDR) as the gaining registrar for generic top-level domain (gTLD) names previously registered with Net 4 India Limited (IANA 1007) (Net 4 India). PDR has experience operating in the same region as Net 4 India, supports many local languages and currencies, and was selected after a careful review to ensure registrants will be well served.

Next Steps

ICANN org will work with PDR to ensure registration data for previous Net 4 India customers is transferred successfully to PDR. ICANN anticipates PDR will begin contacting registrants with information on how to access and manage their domain name registrations by early next week. Once contacted, it is critical that registrants follow the instructions provided by PDR regarding how to access their domain name registrations.

Once completed, the ICANN-approved bulk transfer will result in the migration of all gTLD registrations from Net 4 India to PDR. There is no charge to registrants for this bulk transfer, and no AuthInfo codes are required for this process.
