COMC Visits the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired

DUBAI - Al Falah University, in its resolve to establish an effective community engagement, visited the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties in spreading awareness on intellectual property. Initiated by the College of Mass Communication, Dr. Ahmed Kamel, Assistant Professor and head of the delegation stated that AFU aims to revive voluntary activities and to recognize the importance of conducting scientific research to serve the interest of the visually impaired. Assistant Professor Dr. Rene Ramsis also lauded the development of relations between the association and similar institutions of higher education to support and improve the level of services provided to the people of determination.

According to the University, the Chairman of the association welcomed the delegation, emphasizing that the association always seeks to communicate with other institutions within the community through various activities organized by the association such as sports and cultural activities and seminars, training courses and competitions.

During the visit, the delegation distributed flyers from the students' coursework written in Braille explaining the concept of intellectual property.
