RIYADH - Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Arab States Abdullah Bin Juma Al-Shibli said that the GCC Commerce Ministers decided in their meeting held in the State of Kuwait on May 14, 2014 to form a technical committee on Intellectual Property within the framework of the GCC General Secretariat, according to Saudi Press Agency

 

He said in a statement that the Committee's tasks include the coordination among the GCC countries during international and regional participation in the field of intellectual property, noting that the Committee will be affiliated to Trade Cooperation Committee, and explaining that the Secretariat is in the process of inviting the Committee to hold its first meeting at the end of August 2014 AD.
