LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is seeking feedback on the proposal from ICM Registry LLC, the registry operator for the .XXX top-level domain (TLD), for the renewal of the legacy 2011 .XXX Registry Agreement (RA), as amended, with an initial term set to expire on 30 June 2024. As part of renewal discussions between ICM and the ICANN organization (org), ICM has requested to use the Base Registry Agreement form, as well as to remove the sponsorship designation of the .XXX TLD, a press release stated by ICANN.

ICANN org is looking for input from the community on ICM's proposal to renew the legacy .XXX RA using the Base RA, and to remove the .XXX sponsorship designation. This proposed .XXX renewal agreement would closely align with the existing, similar .ADULT, .PORN, and .SEX Registry Agreements that utilize the Base RA form, as generic, non-sponsored, non-community TLDs.

The Public Comment period will be open for 42 days.

Submissions Opening Date: Monday, March 18, 2024.

Submissions Closing Date: Monday, April 29, 2024.
